Last week, the Eagles and Green Bay Packers completed a trade. They traded a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 sixth-round pick for Dontayvion Wicks, a wide receiver wearing the Green Bay Packers jerseys.

This marks the third consecutive year the Eagles have acquired a wide receiver before the start of a new season. The 2024 season saw the acquisition of former Commander Damyean Dotson, and the 2025 season saw the addition of John Metchie III from the Texans. The Eagles currently have A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Marquise "Hollywood" Brown; Wicks' arrival provides further insurance at that position.

Reports indicate that the Eagles and Wicks signed a one-year, $12.5 million extension. The wide receiver, who will soon be wearing the midnight green nfl jersey, has accumulated 1,328 regular-season receiving yards and 11 touchdowns over his previous three seasons.
